What is SEO?
SEO is abbreviation of Search Engine Optimization. Webmasters must have knowledge of SEO. Webmasters can SEO their sites for good result from Search Engines. Here are few tips and tricks about SEO. 
There are 2 types of SEO. First is on site SEO and second is off site SEO. Both types of SEO are compulsary for your website.
On Site SEO

• Your site must have text contents not full of images.
• URL of your site must have keywords with - (Dash) sign. You can see URL of current page that is http://simplenetworktips.blogspot.com/.
• You can get keyword suggestions using KeywordSnatchem. Download it.
• Try to use .html instead of .php and .asp etc. Search engines prefer .html pages because these are static pages.
• Use your keywords on title tag, Meta Keyword tag and Meta Description tag.
• Use your keywords on your web site contents
• Never put duplicate contents on your web pages. Google hate duplicate contents and doesn't support them. Don't think that you can make fool Google. Google has comprehensive algorithm to check duplication of contents.

Off Site SEO
If you have completed on site SEO then you must try off site SEO to promote your website. There are lot of methods to promote your website. Few of them are discussed here. One way linking is best way to promote your site. You can also make reciprocal link exchanging with other websites by contacting their webmasters. Few tips are available here.

• Join forums and put your website link as signature. Whenever you will post any topic or reply topic there will be a link of your website and it will be one way link. See the list of some famous forums.
• Type unique contents about your website and create an article or tutorial type paragraph and put that article in Article Directories. It is also best way to generate one way linking. See the list of some famous article directories.

We just started this website from mid of April 2008 so we don't have high page rank and traffic yet but we are also implementing above mentioned SEO techniques. You can see result on our website almost three months later.
