Windows Vista and Windows 7: a longer life cycle

There it is said that there still: the people who buy a new operating system only, or install, if this is the first service pack is released. Some are just rely on their computers and frickeln not like one of us the latest stuff on the box, because they can not afford any loss or want. And then there are those who wonder if they ever Windows 8 will need. The very long time may now have to think about.
Microsoft has extended support to update a little. So if you do not want to directly Windows 8, which can make use of its Windows Vista or Windows 7, perhaps longer than planned, Microsoft is committed to properly update time. In the future, get private and corporate customers a mere five years updates (mainstream support) and a further 5 years at least security patches (Extended Update). Thickness is 10 years of support for an operating system, which costs relatively little money. Thus after support for the "most successful" Windows Vista on 11.04.2017, while supporting Windows 7 users should know their system until 01/14/2020. Nice announcement from Microsoft. (via )
